Morocco Tour Itinerario

Day 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH – OUARZAZATE

Our wonderful journey “ Marrakech – Ouarzazate”, starts from your accommodation in Marrakech, for a tour around some of  Morocco’s special destinations .  The first one for today will be the kasbah of Ait Banhaddou.

 On the way  you are going  to experience the beauty of atlas mountains via the road of Tizi-n-Tichka the highest road in Morocco with an altitude of 2260m, offering you charming views as far as the eye can see , valleys, oasis, mountains, and Berber villages. We will stop by, so you can get the chance to take some great pictures and, to admire the beauty of this area dotted with tiny berberic villages.

Arriving   to a world Heritage site the Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou,  this place belongs to one of the most important families between the 16th and 17 th century in Morocco, “the Glaoui’s family” ; and a place that attracted many film makers, that  he took a part in their movies such as ” Jesus of Nazareth “. A lunch is planned for you to enjoy it in this historical area.

After a quiet stay, we will continue our tour towards the gates of Sahara “Ouarzazate”, to explore one of the historical Kasbahs in the area, the Kasbah of Taourirt ;also you will get to explore Ouarzazate’s famous universal studios ,that been a part of plenty of films and, series such as “Game of Thrones”.

Dinner and overnight at a local Riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA – ENNAKHKLA DUNES

After a traditional breakfast in the Riad, we will leave the beautiful Ouarzazate, moving on to the palm’s city the charming “Zagora”, via  Draa valley, along the way you will admire the spectacular views of Daraa, charming gardens, mountains and, Kasbahs. When arrived at Zagora, you will enjoy a traditional lunch among local people. After restoring, we will head over to the Tamegrout village, at this place you will discover the oldest Islamic book shop and, a source of Islamic education in the region. Simultaneously, you will visit the hand-made pottery work shop, so you can get to know more about this product’s circle of making.

Eventually, we will return to the hotel, because camels will be waiting for you, to take you in a wonderful experience, through the sandy golden dunes of Ennakhla, another world, under the spectacular sunset of the Sahara ; to finally arrive at our well equipped camp, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner, around the campfire, while listening to local music.

Day 3: ZAGORA – DRAA VALLEY – MARRAKECH

Before breakfast, it’s recommended for you to wake up early, so you don’t miss a charming sunrise at Ennakhla dunes  . After returning from the dunes, we will hit the road back to Marrakech. The lunch will be in a restaurant in Tizi N’Tichka pass.

Eventually arriving at Marrakech ,where unfortunately our unforgettable journey will end .
